Student labels are built into the workflow.
Refine generates themed or numbered labels for student slots. Teachers keep any association between a label and a real student outside Refine.
No student name required
The group workflow assigns stable generated labels instead of asking teachers for student names.
Teacher-owned records are scoped by account
Protected backend operations use the authenticated teacher identity and ownership relationships.
Account deletion is deliberate
Settings requires the current password and a typed confirmation. Successful deletion removes teacher-owned Refine data and cancels an active Stripe subscription before removing local account state.
Private app routes are marked noindex
Authenticated teacher pages carry noindex, nofollow metadata and are excluded from the public sitemap.
AI-assisted feedback
What happens when you request AI feedback.
Refine stores the application and teacher workspace data in Québec. When a teacher requests AI-assisted feedback, submitted writing is sent to OpenAI to generate suggestions.
Refine uses privacy-conscious student labels, but student writing may still contain personal information. For questions about how information is handled, contact [email protected].
